From Another NY SR IT Leader: “Re: Sunrise. In addition to Northwell moving to Epic, Altera has Memorial Sloan Kettering, St. Barnabas Bronx, and Brooklyn Hospital all implementing Epic. NYC was once a stronghold for the former Eclipsys Sunrise.”

To be clear. Some Aholes were let go in last round of layoffs.
There a a few a—holes that you can bury with those applications….
If you exclude the current Sunrise sites that are implementing Epic, there cant be more than 7 or 8 clients that are over 500 beds.
That pretty much says what the overall health system and hospital market thinks of Sunrise.
IT BE DEAD !!!!!
In addition, Altera should also invite Veragidm\Allscripts to the funeral room as they may have some products to bury as well. Looks like they all gonna need a very big space for the same.
Unrelated note. Just how bad was Allscripts leadership over the past decade. Constellation Software continued to show continuous weeks in red, prior to snake oil purchase they had a green streak going ...
And let’s not forget dbMotion which should be cremated and put into a rusty Maxwell House coffee can.
Maybe Altera can get a group discount at the funeral home to bury Sunrise, TouchWorks and Paragon all at once.
RIP SUNRISE! (NO ONE will MISS YOU!)
