Who will accept that offer? I would have to be really desperate to do that. I certainly don't believe that many will accept it.

@6mte+1lkb3jC3 You would think. But since when do execs think logically?
We’ve tried this type of thing before. It is going to take years for any brand new Genpact employee to be able to support CDK products independently. The CDK associates that move over to Genpact will be safe for several years.
Just look at Glassdoor and postings here about Genpact and you'll have your answer.
find a new job while you can and get out.
Genpact has a history of hiring people from companies they work with then firing them a couple of years later. I would find a new job before the transfer date
It's business...not personal
Since the company went private withNDA and Mutual Arb Agreements (under threat to pull bonuses last time) are void, this could get interesting.
Anyone have a copy of the employee email and offer? redacted of course...
@1sub+1lkb3jC3
The November layoffs are for people who aren't being sent to Genpact and have to train their replacements. Make it to November 1st and leave with a few month's worth of pay as severance.
accepting that offer is accepting the situation end of it.
Use it to your advantage. Accept it, but find another job anyway. That way you still have an income higher than unemployment while you look. You can abandon CDK/Genpact once you do find something better, which hurts them even more in the long run, since it strings out attrition.
Wow 11/1 - 8 months head start ? Unheard but maybe I am missing something
accepting that offer is accepting the situation end of it.
No one should ethically do this that’s a fact.
Everyone I know is accepting the offer. There is no severance if you do not.
It makes sense. You accept the offer but you start looking for a new job at the same time anyway. If you find a better job before the time runs out, you weigh the merits of staying for a severance of whatever value, vs leaving for a steady job that will still be there for you long after the severance would run out. If you do not find a new job before the date, at least you have a leg up on the coworkers who didn't even get their resume in order yet.
A severance is nice if you can time it right, but that rarely happens. Use the time you have left to your advantage as a steady paycheck for now, but don't count on anything else.
They were all told by CDK manager that salary would be comparable.
They were lied to. Without numbers given to them in writing, it's a comforting lie designed to keep the stupid sheep docile. Look for somewhere else to work anyway.
I've been sold to Genpact. It almost makes me feel better about myself. Everyone should protest and walk. Send them packing.
what kind of cr-p is that the "offer" doesn't include a salary?
Everyone I know is accepting the offer. There is no severance if you do not. They were all told by CDK manager that salary would be comparable. They won’t see offer until later. Don’t judge people for what they have to do to keep the lights on. Not everyone can afford to make a statement at the expense of their family.
Do not accept.
If you do you have no right to complain here ever as your an enabler for this unethical CEO
The pay scales at Genpact is approx 1/3 lower than CDK Global.
so you still work for CDK until 11/1?
i got the severance package and my role is ending 11/1. nooooo way id go to Genpact
I am hoping most won't accept. It's insane to think this is ok
I'm hearing that people who have been notified that they were getting moved to genpact or knowledge transfer are just quitting, hopefully with no notice.
