I worked at Blackbaud for some years as a software engineer. Saw some layoffs. Including them laying off all their quality engineers.
Never bought into their phony messaging of making the world a better place or driving social good.
I quit years ago after Blackbaud "postponed " merit increases and converted cash bonus to restricted stock. I only got 1% raises there anyway.
Tech is cool, fellow employees are usually cool, and first level management can be cool, but the company is sh--e, run by greed.
I'd start looking for another job if I was a Blackbaud employee. Just posting my experiences. I'd expect more layoffs.
