Previous poster, that’s a bunch of BS. No Walmart jobs from South Jersey are going to Mexico. Do you think people on here are that ignorant?

Still missing layoffs at corporate. Musk found he can do more for less. Sounds like I've heard that before. Streamline corporate.

New stores will open. New fulfillment centers and distribution centers will open. Facilities (any type) on the failing end of the scale will be closed. That’s how business works. Of course, there’s places Walmart just wants to get out of. No big surprise, that’s the idea. Do business where you want and where it’s profitable. No one would criticize a company for abandoning a failed location.

That makes sense. Just announced a 17% increase for the quarter for online sales so let’s layoff all the fulfillment center people.

Stores close. Fulfillment centers close. Distribution centers close. New ones open. Remember back to your Business 101 classes? When a company wants to focus on other locations or goals, they move physical resources and personnel. No company ever guarantees any given location or facility will stay open forever. Ok, it’s sad. But, This will be an opportunity for many that will take advantage of the chance to improve themselves and their careers.

MCO1 had had a ton of people told they have 90 days to find a new position within Walmart. I love how they sp-t about having increased revenue then cut so many jobs.
