Thread regarding SAP layoffs

SAP UK layoffs - You can update this thread with any layoff news

I was browsing this website and there doesn't seem to be quite a lot of info regarding layoffs in the UK. If there are any news, I appreciate if they can be posted in the replies.

Impacted people will start being notified from the 13th March 2023 till early April 2023 with the goal of informing most of the people before end of Q1

Anyone from the UK heard anything yet, it all seems very quiet, not sure if this is good or bad?

I am UK based and like many in SAP most of my colleagues are in Germany anf to a lesser extent, France.

I do not work in the areas that are being restructured such s CX but it looks as if every unit has to take some pain. I have unofficially been told I am going to be made redundant and it is geography based. Germany for example is too difficult to lay people of so all the people that do nothing and have a comfortable setup remain. I know that people in Middle East and UK will be told probably end of March is my latest info.

There are some really good people gone in the US (and India) as it's an easy target that probably have earnt more money for SAP than many I don't get the logic. I agree SAP should sort out it's solution structure but I feel it's taking the path of least resistance to please the major shareholder/investors.

HR are useless too. Don't buy the line that people made redundant will be prioritised. It hasn't been the case.
