Thread regarding University of Arkansas at Fayetteville layoffs

University of Phoenix is a ticking....

11 percent of the estimated 200,000 borrowers in the Sweet v Cardona Borrower Defense to Repayment case have claims against the University of Phoenix.

This would roughly be the same number of cases that were denied systematically by the Department of Education.

Currently, the Sweet v Cardona case is pending in the 9th Circuit Court, on appeal.

There are at least 10,000 additional BD cases pending with the University of Phoenix.
We only have the numbers up to January 2022, when the count was 32,040.

And there is a FOIA (23-00865-F) with the Department of Education to update those numbers.

With an estimated 1 million debtors from University of Phoenix, we expect thousands of more claims to occur in 2023.

The University of Phoenix should have access to those numbers.
