I'm looking to relocate to TX, I'm electrical/mechanical engineer with 7 years experience with a small company in MN. I'm wondering what LM average pay is for engineers.

I’m going to have to go with the first poster’s response. LM pays ridiculously low compared to the rest of the industry. They like to claim that they balance that with the level of health benefits they offer, but the reality is that you can get better benefits without looking too hard. My kid works for the local UFCW-affiliated supermarket as a part time job while he’s in high school. His benefits are far superior.
LM used to be a damn nice place to work, but now it’s Walmart for engineers.
Avoid the foul-smelling Canadian locations -- overrun with bootlickers, stooges and cliques. Very dated, mostly paper-pushing and project admin cr-p -- very little engineering development in Canada. High turnover - they seem to have resorted to depositing fake reviews on the Glassdoor site lavishly praising the company.
The mediocre Canadian operations pay poorly.
In general LM pays lower for mechanical engineers than the rest of the industry by about 5-8% based on my experience.
