Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

Toilet

I left this TOILET 22+ years ago. Probably one of the best moves I ever made.

I was laid off in 2020 and came back in 2022. The best decision. Boeing is a good company to work for. I like it there. I have a good manager, the projects I work on are interesting. I am surrounded by smart people. I am salaried though... :-)

I left boeing for a 40% salary increase. I stayed away for 5 years and came back for a 25% salary increase. Aside from the increase in pay I only came back for the pension and the vacation benefits. After they took those away I no longer see any reason why anyone would ever want to work for this company let alone ever return. I elbowed my way to the front of the line back in 2020 to get my VLO and golden parachute and never looked back !!!

Agree. I've been here under 6 months and think it's one of the most toxic companies I've worked at....and I have worked at many large corporations. Started looking for exits 2 months into current role. Cesspit.

A clear sign a company has serious problems is when people leave and never come back. Partly due to the rampant age discrimination at Boeing. Boeing will not hire people over 40 generally.
