Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Transparency ?

Both the CEO and CFO faced the public and many questions about the dividend just a short time ago, why wouldn’t they come clean on then the dividend?

Can any executive be thrusted?

Do they really think TAM is 300M because of one executives kid?

Serious reality distortion of the executives, store than dangerous as about 50K people’s wage is being deluded

We need paycuts and layoffs to save the dividends. We need a dividend cut to save jobs. We need paycuts and layoffs to save the dividends. We need a dividend cut to save jobs. And so on.

TAM could be projected at 300 million because of one executive's kid, but .....given the choice, that kid will buy a MacBook.

When your CEO and CFO can’t be honest says it all.

Hey didn’t Pat hide Dave, any questions

CFO answer about dividend was at best misleading. 12.5/share is 50 cents/yr or about 2% at $25/share, so that is competitive, i'd say, for a company intel's size. but the answer is he gave was clearly implying that intel would maintain the dividend. at 36.5 or similar level. i stopped trusting anything ceo's had to say at intel when bk swore in 2016 that intel was shipping 10nm parts on an investor call, which everyone knew was bs.

Intel needs to hire our savior, Elon Musk. Until then the employees will keep being lied to.

Worker morale just keeps getting better.

But I get questions about the security of the dividend all the time. And maybe that's a board-level decision, but maybe you and Pat could address it a bit. Is that the current levels of dividend? Is that sort of a sacrosanct thing at Intel in your current operating plan? Are there discussions around it either way? Don’t shoot the messenger, it’s a question I get a ton. Thanks.

Yes. Well, obviously, we announced a $0.365 dividend for the first quarter. That was consistent with the last quarter's dividend. I'd just say the board, management, we take a very disciplined approach to the capital allocation strategy, and we're going to remain committed to being very prudent around how we allocate capital for the owners. And we are committed to maintaining a competitive dividend.
