Dealing with management here is essentially the most difficult part of my job.
Why do they think that something will be achieved by whipping harder on the remaining staff?
The only thing that can come out of it is a greater attrition. Though perhaps that might be one of their goals.

leading through fear of losing your job is the best way to motivate employees and get them to work long hours.

With SAP aging work force, it will be a struggle to replace the #s of employees leaving never mind their experience.
