Next up: Role Reductions within S-Team!!

This will please investors - role eliminations:

Candi Castleberry, VP of DEI

  • Employees just need ONE simple 20 minute DEI training course. Diversity doesn't trump hard skills. Donate to train unskilled minorities, and hire AFTER they are actually skilled. Too much DEI cruft/unskilled resources - eliminate.

Christine Beauchamp, SVP, North America Stores + Doug Herrington, CEO, Worldwide Amazon Stores

  • Stores HUGELY unprofitable, many closing/closed - it's all e-commerce now, so ignore what Andy is saying about doubling on grocery stores. Walmart got the formula right!

Beth Galetti, SVP, People eXperience and Technology

  • Out of control hiring
  • Weak, very lengthy or abrupt/curt communication
  • Imperiling 18000+ lives of families, those with special needs, and foreign workers.

Dave Limp, SVP, Devices & Services

  • Alexa's COLOSSAL failure - $10B+ loss
  • Functionally dorky, but physically well constructed Echo and Fire devices

John Felton, SVP, Worldwide Operations, Brian Olsavsky, SVP and Chief Financial Officer, Andy Jassy, CEO

  • All of the above mistakes.
  • Real Estate mess ups.
  • Misleading investors.
  • RTO/groupthink b.s..
  • Future attrition impacting teams globally.

I think it's been proven that remote workers are far more productive than when you are forced back to an office. You spend 1 to 2 hours commuting, wasting gas, time and money. I haven't had as much as a cold in 3 years and don't want to pick anything up now. This must be the new attrition plan because I know plenty are now looking for new jobs.

Actually, you cleverly omitted the yearly RTO employee cost components such as:

  • $3000 in yearly commuting expenses (2% average salary reduction)
  • $800/month in child care costs (6.5% average salary reduction)
  • 24 full days spent in a car
  • Consequences of COVID virus spread - sick time, hospital time
  • Strained family relationships

Don't need any eye contact to write JS code and have it reviewed. Eye contact works on Chime, Zoom, etc. Just need to flush out management - not the smart people.

WFH position elsewhere will be better for sure - reduce one's salary by same amount AND not have to RTO unlike Amazon.

Co-wankers of Amazon, please rage quit your current $500K comp Javascript-writing job at the Autistic Worker's Republic because you'll be forced to occasionally make eye contact with humans, however briefly. That will show Jassy who's boss. Then go search for a WFH position somewhere else that will pay you as much and expect as little. Let us know how that works out. We're waiting.
