I don't understand how Micron is already broke after a mere few months into a mild downturn. We just had two years of unparalleled revenue growth and profit. Guess they must have overspent. For example, the Manassas site tore down the old cafeteria to make a fancy new team member center when there was nothing wrong with the old one.

Sanjay couldn’t even put together a good donut crew in the end. Don’t give him that much credit. A lot of monkey buttin going on around there if ya ask me.

Protest and demand pay cut for Sanjay, to save thousands of workers. The leaders normally step up in these situations and watch out for their employees. Micron is the only hardware company that's driving out young talents, while the management is having a feast.

Our rival group SAMSUNG and Hynix. We are in the same market but we are the only one company treats people like sh-t. What's the different between Micron and our rival company Sanjay said SAMSUNG has their electronic business. How about Hynix?! Do they have their electronic business??

The big difference we have Sanjay and they don't have it. It makes strategy difference. Even the greatest government, US government, supports Micron, Sanjay management is failed. And he assign blame to us, laid off. This big company not suitable based on his performance. I hope he just run his own curry restaurant in Boise.

I mean it’s not like this came out of nowhere. The CHIPS act was in play. Sanjay pushed for it and his employees to call their reps to make it happen. They weren’t going to reveal layoffs until after everything had gone through. So now that it has they will layoff more than originally announced and hope things get better by the time the new fabs are close to being completed.
They knew then that the outlook wasn’t looking good but it wouldn’t look good to layoff people when they are trying to secure billions from the US government.
