We now know where the funds that had been allocated for children's scholarships are being reallocated to when the program was abruptly ended recently. According to the MKE Business Journal "Under the agreement to receive city financing, Northwestern Mutual pledges to have at least 5,750 employees downtown by 2030, and maintain that number until 2045. Other commitments include $2.5 million in payments from the Northwestern Mutual Foundation to affordable housing or social programs for Milwaukee youths."

NML leadership should be reminded that the Constitution promised equality not equity. They sound a lot the same but they mean different things. Equality = Equal opportunity. Equity = Equal outcome.
So you guys were the ones that got all these handouts, but now because other people are getting them, it’s not ok? Welcome to the free-money Olympics, where everyone is an entitled a-hole. Luckily you don’t have a say in how policyholder money gets spent, because you clearly live in a bubble and can’t fathom that a fortune 100 company needs to spend money on things other than you.
It's disgusting how NM continues to funnel policyholder money to social programs and so-called underserved people. These people are quite capable of supporting themselves if they choose to get off their lazy a$$es. Company funds should be spent on official business or returned to policyholders. Government leaders should be capable of handling the issues in the community using taxpayer funds and NM should not push a political agenda.
