Currently 140ish people have been let go between 2/15 and 2/17 with more expected throughout the day. Seems concentrated to the services organization so far.

No warnings either over 700 workers gone and hospitals closed
Insight enterprises is doing multiple layoffs since Feb 2023. I was in the list in the first round and heard some of the teams are almost gone so the utilization (work pressure) is well above 100% to the remaining ones.
I was laid off on the Feb 17th with no warning or anything, just when I was just about to become permanent.
Clear ageism at work here. Most of the layoffs in field services were over the age of 45.
I was let go Monday March 13 from Insight. In my severance packet, they informed me that 102 employees in Q1 were all part of my business unit Consulting Services. So I am assuming some of the 140 teammates mentioned above came from Consulting Services and possibly other business units as well. I too remember being told we were not doing layoffs this year and even received internal emails that we had a record $420 Million in PROFITS last year. There was absolutely no transparency with the work force reduction and no way to treat your employees who were billing and making them thousands year after year!!
This layoff goes deeper than what I have seen posted out here. Full disclosure, I was laid off on Feb 16 2023.
Our leadership told us no layoffs coming, don't worry. That was the message we received at the end of 2022.
Then they removed fixed, earned PTO, and went to a flex pto plan, which negates the state by state lawsuits on payout for pto also the end of 2022.
Then, early 2023, a reorg that made no sense at all. The message was to have a local manager that covers your region. My previous manager was in Georgia but covered the businesses where I lived. The new manager covers north east, and has no direct reports from there.
Jan 27 2022, manager let's me know he was promoted and as a part of that im moved under a new manager.
Then Feb 8 2023, insight enterprise to the market, that they have no plans for layoff, company is solid and good.
Feb 16 2023, I was laid off. 140+ others were also laid off.
Then, insight enterprises on March 10th, sends a letter to all of the released employees with a summary of release, the date on that letter was Jan 31 2022.
So, they lied to the market. Their leadership lied to every employee out there, and released people based on some unknown political or personal reason.
Even more devious. They held a lot of talent with their false pretense and commitment to employees, which significantly hurt competitors .
It you would ever want to work for a company like this, more power to ya. I won't ever again.
Yep, I was one of them
True, I saw entire department vanishing.. not sure based on what, one teammate let go and no one knows why
