Laid off this morning! Said it was for performance but still paying severance and benefits til end of month.
Anyone else affected today? Only news article I found was from yesterday saying anticipating 200 people laid off today.

I got cut as well and only am supposed to receive 1 severance check not even equaling my pay. Whereas I’ve been informed others are receiving 6 months severance plus untaxed bonuses. Will be consulting with an attorney asap
Got a very complimentary email from my manager about my work only a couple of weeks ago, and now they wanna say I was under performing?? What a sham of a company, wishing them nothing but the worst. Super unprofessional
The first list that Coyote’s middle managers generated was adjusted and broadened to conform to UPS’ diversity, equity and inclusion mandate that underrepresented groups were not to be disproportionately impacted by the cuts. “Low performers” across all divisions, not limited to mostly Large Enterprise, will be affected by Friday’s cut, with an emphasis on non-revenue-generating cost centers like IT and operations.
Just got our severance email. It appears we get one month severance plus remaining PTO paid out. Would have appreciated 60-90 days severance!
Same thing happened to my coworker and I! Our SR manager had the same rehearsed script& my direct manager just sent me my numbers the day before and I was one of the top performers in our group. Just incredible!
