Haven't had any meetings in my area, heard other areas have. Managers seen to not be concerned...
Do all parties have an idea they will be laid off eventually?

Boeing Ridley laid off 150 union workers since December of 2022. Since losing the new Defiant Helicopter contract they will eventually close. V22 done in 2025. CH47 is 60 years old and has supplier issues.
Let me venture a guess ??? You work in South Carolina !!! Am I right ???
I had a Boeing manager who actually go off on handing WARN notices out to people who worked for him. What does that say about Boeing managers. If there is such a thing as Karma I hope this Boeing manager and the HR bozo get repeated visits.
Knowing Boeings complete lack of ethics, I suspect they want people to stay long enough to train their replacement in India. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to stay to do that.
"Do all parties have an idea they will be laid off eventually ? " #1 boeing is NEVER going to tell you that, because it'd spoil the surprise. This way they can keep you till it no longer serves their best interest. #2 ONLY the smart ones have figured this out. Are you one of the smart ones ???
.....and of course "managers seeM to not be concerned" !!! The company needs someone go pass out your warn so he/she KNOWS that they will have a job after you are just a memory !!!
What are you waiting for !!!!!??? Your function is getting outsourced, this is just the first wave. You don't get a pension anymore and the benefits have been reduced to the point where you can do better working at Walmart. There's no sense in being the last one standing. Update your resume and go job hunting ASAP before the stampede starts. Or stand pat and stare at the boeing pink slip you'll be holding in a year or 2 muttering shoulda, woulda, coulda !!! But ya gotta MOVE Now or you deserve everything that's coming your way !!!
OH MY
This one is as bright as Christmas day in Alaska
