I heard NAND didn't get many cuts which is surprising. I wouldn't be surprised if they git NAND
It’s not 10% per team. It’s 10% for whole Micron, so it is entirely possible to cut 100% of a team, based on the project the team is working on.
They already laid off 10% of employees from our team last week. I think they will hit other teams now which didn’t see any or less than 10% layoff.
Nope 1 st round was well over 5%. Several managers were saying it was between 5 to 10%. Some teams like mine got hit 15%.
So there's another round of layoffs guaranteed to happen before of end of Feb to cut an additional 5%? The first round was only aiming for 10% counting attrition?
Not 10%
CEO has announced and send out mail to employees that they will raise reduction rate from 10% to 15%.
And they provide VERY compensation for people be layed off which had superrrrr lowered morale for internal employee who still stay in company.
Lol last week everyone got hit. I mean directors, dmts, senior engineers, principal engineers, NCGs. It didn't really matter. Performance literally does not matter but it doesn't help to have sh-t performance
Rating 4 & 5 also will be hitting soon. This layoffs is not based on ratings
Rating 1,2 falls under the 10%
The remaining 5% from natural attrition. Will rating 1,2 be considered as natural attrition?
So are teams who's already affected gonna get hit again?!
