Why is UHG hiring nurses if they are laying people off?

You'll be asked to put your license on the line daily working here as a nurse. Don't take the job. I left after 6 months of insane hours, insane requirements and criminally low pay.
Former CEO netted $400M when RN salary ~ $80k. Yes, rid off longer tenure workers with lower incoming RN; cycles start all over again…
It’s not about caring for patients doing the right thing- it’s bottom line greed..
Because they cant keep anyone…..going to filthy crime ridden homes for patients, driving in all kinds of weather, bit by dogs, robbed, etc. they hire “hourly” RNs now
You would have to be absolutely insane to take a job here. The position might be open today and outsourced next week.
Because you were hired into a department that is a. not laying anyone off for the position you were hired into b. already laid people off, so now they’re replacing positions with people at a lower salary point.
