Tech Centre Layoffs

When are we finding out about the lay offs? I thought they said start of April. Can’t wait to cash in on my 15 years of service

Way too many people dragging their feet to/from work (or even better working remotely) and hoping they keep the job for years JUST so they can get SEVERANCE or eventually a pension!

If I'll ever get to the top, I'll end this!!

Lots of poor people out there having such a hard time keeping their low paid jobs, and here many well paid people are dragging themselves to work for SEVERANCE...

Wake up people!

If you’re not happy with your severance get a lawyer to write you a letter asking for more.

Yes TC keeps severance in their budget, so far energy is ok that’s why TC can afford to keep incompetent people who get promoted for questionable reasons
But severances are not as great…. Inflation is crazy, money never enough even for 15 years of service …. Unless you are in SLT

With all the people abandoning ship and leaving on their own lately I assume HR has had to recalculate severances, resulting in the delay. There’s a lot of work involved with laying off hundreds or dozens or whatever it is.
