Layoffs stated this morning here in California. Inspection technicians and installers being let go. They were offered severance packages and were told the company is downsizing.

I know of 2 people who got let go, April 2023 one was a Foreman and one was a Manager/ trainer. It was no fault of their own.
They started layoffs in Colorado yesterday too but it was any employee who had been with the company under a year was let go. From installers to management. Just weeks after they assured employees of Job security and that they had been "well prepared for an economy collapse and had enough work for their (then current) number of employees to last at least 2 years of a recession. All this company seems to do is lie. To employees amd customers.
