Thread regarding Hy-Vee layoffs

Foolish moves

A good question that I don't have an answer to:

How can they expand nationwide when they are losing money now?

The reason that I believe is that the expansion was already in motion before s-%t hit the fan and they don't want to admit that it's a bad idea to pump the brakes on the expansion or even worse the indy car race. So they would rather cut labor and make all the employees suffer.

Well we do know that HyVee isn’t financially healthy right now. I say that because if they were randy would have expanded down south already and built a dc center. Layoff isn’t the sign of a healthy company. You I had to bet on if they were healthy or not healthy financially right now I would go with Not healthy.

Truth is we don’t know the actual financials of the company. But the executives only want to expand because it will help them to feel important.

Well that would be a very logical question to ask. At HyVee we are going to say what we want to do and not question how. HyVee is reaching for the stars while the company is on the verge on bankruptcy. Randy and Jeremy are so disconnected from reality? He-l everyone at the top is just trying to keep their jobs that they would tell Randy or Jeremy the earth is flat if they wanted to hear that.
