Wonders never cease! Obviously been a sea change the last few weeks. Virtue signallers out on their a**. Who ever steps up make sure you can manage up and down and you are Technicaly proficent in your discipline.
Just give NA or Baker in general another 5 yrs if that.. Poor corporate decisions for several years now, over 10 facilities closures in the past few yrs.. They shut these facilities down to make it look like they’re doing better on carbon friendly & relying on farmout facilities do all their dirty work.. The bad thing is their quality/production is declining because they let go all the knowledge and kept all the blow hards
This shitcake of a company is still a closed shop when it comes to advertising positions. But to be fair to the new owners that is nothing new. But its a pi---r when positions are advertised internaly and externaly that have already been decided.
Anyway, no buisness has ever worked as a a chumocracy, so when the a-s drops out of the current Business model because nobody will make a decison, because they do not understand the industry their in.
Must stink like F*** over there at the moment. Glad I am out of that toilet.
We are the shithole everyone makes fun of
DS Service/sales team being laid off and relocating to MX
Forget all this nonsense about being laid off; I's settle for just getting laid.............
For the past week Market Watch has described Baker stock as “underperforming the market”. We all know what that means.
I would start with t—-ts at senior level that constantly post virtue signaling sh—e on social media sites such as Linkedin. Your day job is to improve performance within the company , if you think you are achieving this by posting this nonsense on social media, expect a Pink slip to land anytime soon. All the doers at mid and senior level are gone, the poser’s and imposters, the influencers, no longer look like the captains of industry they claimed to be, the writings on the wall, the margins will not be met on the next earnings call. And after that, less (not more) will be done by less. And it wont be a minute to soon.
MC and RMA already drawing up their lists. Lot of hands sittinh at home.
Baker are too heavy from the top down. We can’t compete.
First quarter results to be announced April 19, there will be layoffs starting May.
I work North America land and yes we don’t have any work, but our competitors seem to be doing okay.
Just look at Simonelli’s post yesterday. They are focused on increasing margins. You don’t have to be a genius ti figure out what that means.
If there is no work they have no choice.
They are coming. Lot of guys sitting at the house, being told to watch expenditures and no communication from the office. Classic signs!
