I’ve heard rumblings of layoffs today. Anyone know which groups were impacted? Hold on tight everyone..

Read that IT in Bangalore had layoffs, too.
Heard that IT got hit the worst. Frankly, they appeared to be too heavy in that area to me anyways. Why else build that humongous tech hub in Charlotte?
"Eat all day" ain't that the truth! Talk all day too!
Delivery coordinator is gone I heard. Which actually is a good thing. The recieving manager is one of the laziest jobs in the store . They sit around without vests on and eat all day on the office .
Outsourcing every position they can to Bangalore, starting with the remote positions…
About 120 People laid off so far. It may go little more. But I don't think they will do anymore now.
Aps got let to today... more coming to...buckle up and hold on ...
anyone know how many people were let go?
Melvin, Billy Sears, and Small Hands should be #1, 2, and 3 on the layoff list. Only way to save us from the fate of Sears and JC Penny in the next 2 years time.
I was part of merchandising finance - cost optimization team that was laid off. All good. On to better opportunities
People in HR, merchandising, accounting and other areas as well were let go today.
I know some work from home
What’s the severance package like? Is it 2 weeks pay per year like last time or something different? Was everyone cut today in the office or were some work from home?
I was in Risk/Claims and was told they are downsizing the dept. Today was my last day. They kept about 6 people
The ones I’m aware of were all in Tech. Specifically under SVP Neelima's org, which is DCO/EMM. Her 4pm meeting explaining the changes was absolutely terrible....you could tell she didn't actually care....was just reading "difficult decisions" and "our business strategy is sound" over and over from her HR talking points. If you're under her....I'd run away as fast as you can....
EComm too!
Some Lowes people on my LinkedIn page have been laid off, look to be from Platform engineering / IT
