Thread regarding BP PLC layoffs

Remote work

Does BP offer any kind of remote work for their non-field personnel? Thinking of applying but remote/hybrid work is a perk I’m not willing to lose

There are a few exceptions, but they tend to have already been with the company for 10+ years, and even they come to the office for a few days per month. Fully remote is not supported by leadership at the highest levels.

What are the chances of BP letting an exploration geophysicist work 100% remote? I'm also thinking of applying but won't move to Houston.

You can choose whichever days you like as long as you do 3 in office.

Most people seem to ignore the rule anyway and stay fully remote

Are the 2 days set...say Monday and Friday from home? Y'all still have 9/80?
