I see them selling breaking up and selling off pieces thus looking a lot different in the near future.
Poor Walt is turning in his grave. bless him. The leaders sent a great company to the sh----r and it will be forever missed in its current state.

Let's clarify a previous statement Certain divisions are doing well, while others are money pits that are being financed by the others. Activists that have risen in the company are changing some of the content to better reflect how they believe you should think about things. Its a public company, so the shareholders have more say on what way the company should go.
Iger and the board completely underestimated the competition coming from the online creator economy who has taken a significant chunk of Disney's audience and revenue due to ESG mandates.
Disney would've survived if their market was still only 4 or 5 competitors like the old days, but now they're competing against hundreds of thousands of creators producing wayyy better content that people can actually relate to on a fraction-of-a-fraction of Disney's budget.
The only way to course correct is to ditch ESG, but Iger and co. would rather thank the company instead because they get paid either way. Disney liquidation is not a matter of "if" but "when".
I know there is a lot of politics in people’s interpretation of recent events, but the truth is Disney lost its original vision and in recent years has been run by incompetent and complacent management (I’m looking at you, Bob C and Bob I). The hypocrisy of Bob I being a “savior” from conditions he created is beyond the pale.
7k layoffs is both too much and not enough…and sadly too late. The thing about a place like Disney is when success rides on selling a dream/vision, dirty parks and bitter employees have a way of permanently invalidating that. I think it will be sold in a content play.
I’ve never worked there, but know people who do. The looming layoffs are terrifying them. Shame shame shame.
Milan told me to look for another Job.
true. they are ruining everything
Lmfao. You can keep wishing for its demise all you want, but Disney is doing just fine.
