Thread regarding Kyndryl layoffs

Over 2,000 on the bench?

So based on freely available info inside the company it looks like there are over 2000 people worldwide on the bench for that last couple of months.

How do you explain that cost to shareholders?

Further reductions just seem inevitable...and a small percentage of 90k employees...say 3 percent equals around that number. There is no communication from management at all. It seems that there is no interest in trusting people with what's going on.

Like that HBR article that was shared earlier, losing trust and not being transparent has long term affects beyond that spreadsheet strategy of cuts and silence. And like someone said earlier, why would anyone want to work in that environment? I get that all corporate strategies are designed to reinforce the bottom line but wow, this whole thing is kinda pathetic and just plain mean-spirited. Losers.

In CIC Kyndryl Brno, managers lied to people that those people, which were benched going for somethin better in their career, those managers without leadership skills
I believe soon or later this practice will be spread across local IT sector how is this poorly communicated or even managed.
HR is quiet about this and it looks pretentending all ok on social media sites
Really weird type of communicaton style
On bench are managers even service desk people, no matter role
