With all this rain and flooding, it should be mandatory 7 days of work right now and yet Frontier has Ghost crews covering wet cables. This is truly a sign of the time as multiple forms of communications have penetrated the Copper Temple. IF YOUR A COPPER TECH, GET ON OVER TO FIBER BEFORE YOUR A-S IS SENT TO COLFAX!!!!!

you just made my point! no wonder Verizon/FYBR is all jacked up. poor mgmt coupled with id--t workers
I’m pretty sure the only βpointβ you’ve made is that you are likely the id--t in this thread.

Verizon mgmt let the plant deteriorate, with the thought of transitioning the customer to fiber
False! Verizon still maintained the plant. Perhaps, not as efficiently as the once did. However, the total demise and blatant destroying of at least the plant in California was due to one mo--n that was placed in a position that far exceeded his depth of knowledge.. His brilliant idea was to stop buying nitrogen to support the copper facilities because it was too costly. That’s the equivalent of saying the fleet would save a tone of money if they didn’t buy fuel for the trucks. Hi Mike Jesse.
It’s almost as if Frontier management team has intentionally tried to destroy the copper plant in order to not have to maintain it. Hi Mike Jesse!

Frontier already has one foot in the grave....just throw the whole company in the trash.
FOR VERY FEW NUMB KNUTZ! You need to take a step back and compare to just 15 years ago how many techs they had working OT on copper as to current days. No comparison to the workforce.
Numb Knutz? Do you compare everything in your life to what there was 15 years ago? Autos, cell phones, TVs, - literally everything is better now, including our company.
Dunno about "ghost crews", tons of OT going on out there right now. Copper still dying, still falling apart, but there ARE bodies deployed.

It's been dead for over 15 years, managers refusing to replace or fix wet cable, "it'll dry out when the sun comes out". Underground pressured cable neglected, not meeting pressure standards.
