The new plan is same as the old plan, subjective goals and rewards.

So no one wants to share detail on the changed plan, not even the OP. Okay, dead topic. Next?

I've always been BOGGLED by the fact that Cengage only pays out commission once or twice a year. Seems sketchy as he-l to me.

Ex-Cengager here, I was one of the many deceived ones in the early "Gage" days who ended up tossed aside and replacex by an underpaid generalist.

Out of curiosity, what does the new plan look like? I've respect for those currently manning those trenches, they're carrying a helluva workload for a fraction of what we used to be paid. But ... how bad is it?

Thanks:)

2nd Bankruptcy. Hansen and crew get richer. Everyone else gets nothing.

Greetings,

The change was made in the spirit of diversity. By changing the plan and making it more inclusive, Cengage embraced its shared ethos and raised its corporate intelligence.

In today's rapidly changing marketplace, money no longer motivates resources. It has been shown that people want a voice, to feel their work is valuable and they are contributing to change.

The new compensation plan allows leadership to create a long-term strategic plan. It also allows the organization to be more scalable and agile.
