According to Glassdoor there is. If that is the case why Qlik fired 8% of its engineers? This smells like sweatshop environment.. Why Qlik is run in such way?

Glassdoor is not accurate.
Qlik is a tech company that doesn't pay tech-level salaries unless you're a VP or higher.
The last round of lay-offs trimmed off much of the pre-acquisition fat (high salaries). The second round of lay-offs is coming in the next few weeks. Heck, it might be this week!
So Qlik has supplied erroneous information to Glassdoor? Every time Qlik employee leaves a review of a company he is asked about his salary base + additional compensation /bonus). Sounds like many Qlik engineers and architects in concert have been lying about the salaries..
Glassdoor is miscalculating pay for all roles - don’t trust it. Base salary on Glassdoor is roughly accurate, but for some reason it’s projecting a bonus/stock comp structure that is WAY off. My role has me at $100k base and $100k commission for $200k. The $100k is accurate but I don’t have any bonus more than $5k.
