I haven't seen any posts about CVS closing it's warehouse in Bessemer, AL.

Actually, that particular area that the warehouse was located in wasn't bad. It was right off the interstate in a fairly nice area. I used to call on it years ago when it was owned by Big B dr-gs before they were bought out by Revco and then by CVS. Could be many reasons they chose to close this particular one: It was getting old, it was kind of landlocked and they couldn't expand, who knows. As far as getting anyone to work there several large distribution centers have opened up close by in the last couple of years, Amazon, Dollar General, Etc. So, if CVS wasn't competitive with pay then yeah, they may have not been able to attract and keep good help.

The Alabama dist center closed cause it was in a bad area - the city was in the top 5 most dangerous places to live - hence could not find anyone willing to work - THAT IS 100 %
The reason .

They are also closing the CVS store about 1/2 a mile away.

Kinda a big deal closing a distribution center if you ask me. But typical of corporate to sweep bad news under the rug. The cracks in the empire are showing.
