Question. Is it true that they want no z bars in fitting rooms and you must put away clothing right away to keep the total number of rods down? Is this a corporate thing or store by store?

Our store has carpet in the fitting rooms and they smell like feet and p-e. The carpet is so nasty that customers bring in clothes just to drop on the floor and stand on when they are trying on merchandise. We don't have z-rails in fitting rooms, just smaller racks which we then consolidate onto z-rails in the stockroom. Like most stores, between hour cuts and call-outs, we don't always keep up with go backs until a day or two after the weekends are over.
Impossible! How can you empty a bank of fitting rooms, sort, and place on the floor when you are the sole colleague in the dress area?
Our store has fitting room rods (straight bottom, not a z-rod). The clothes then go to z-rods behind the cashwrap for sorting and putting away. We're a fairly small store
