Now how did the Cabelas layoff site work out for Cabelas. Although i am pretty sure most people would think a site like the Cabelas layoff com had no effect on the outcome. I am pretty sure nothing positive came out of the site and hopefully no negative outcome either. Although the truth is when in drive into Sidney today you will see two huge corporate offices which at one time may have had 1500 cars in the lot today there will be around 12 today. Yes the six directors walked away with millions or billions of dollars and town of Sidney so many people had their dreams destroyed. The cabelas layoff site which i was told was run by one fired ex cabela employee did they get the out come they wanted by bad mouthing a company like they did for years. I would like to point this out a few facts you wont see on this site bass pro has 2126 job openings and news of opening a huge store in California. I guess what are the viewers of this website hoping for . Do you want to see your corporate building with 12 cars around it and a website of this bad mouthing bass pro constantly who knows may help reach this goal. Or do you want to see a successful company which employee thousand of people and provide a fun type of store to millions of customers.

Ok boomer.
I doubt anything you said was true. I am sure you are cabela hater who posted the non sense about cabelas for years and now you pretending to work for bass pro. you fool no one.
An old-timer here, I've been posting here for about seven years (can't remember exactly the year, but there were about 50 positions cut that summer just in Springfield), so believe me when I say that no Sidney or Springfield (or NY for that matter) single poster "runs" this site, nor could have had any influence on any forum board here.
Maybe you don't realize the size of this site and how many forum pages it has. I check this and Kraft forum boards on a regular basis (wife works there). Both forum boards are cyclical - when things are good they go silent, so when I'm bored I sometimes peek at the "latest posts" section of this page. Dozens of new threads and God knows how many replies appear there every minute. I've seen people sharing all kinds of work-related info, and sometimes fighting about the weird things. Some spamming and trolling and fake news attempts (usually gets deleted promptly), but in all those years I've never seen any company failing because of the things written here.
