I got layedoff from Dst. Best thing as it's going downhill. The company with massive blindspots, poor systems, hostile managers and below market pay is almost extinct. Harrassement takes many forms. Sometimes it's just hostility against someone that you don't get along with. So many other places are kinder, gentler and pay a whole lot more money.
I hear things like this often. Many more people who I know were laid off ended up in a better position afterward than those who ended up in a worse situation. Just keep that in mind when layoffs start happening, for your own mental health.
