More Boeing Incompetence

Boeing tightens procedures to address bolt-torque issue at Renton 737 factory

Wait what? I thought these issues only happened in non-union shops?

Watch the union folks run the macro that votes this post down.

But just because you don't like it doesn't change the fact it's true.

How long can you keep selling stuff for less than it costs you to make it?

I dunno...we have gotten very competent at sneaking defects past the FAA and delivering again to our d-mb customers. And Congressional lobbying in our Washington DC headquarters is going well and this will be my largest executive bonus ever.

Does anything at Boeing really matter anymore? Does Boeing have ANY projects or programs that actually generate a positive return? Don't think so. Seems like only the executives are making out really well...at least until Boeing eventually goes out of business because of the increasing competition of far more competent companies.

There’s so much schedule pressure that they look to blame anyone.

To most people, the huge amount of turnover and too many inexperienced people is the real cause of the production issues. But they will be using common sense. Their schedule is completely unrealistic with so many new people and they should’ve known this when they laid so many off for Covid and moving work to south Carolina.

The company is run by morally bankrupt men who have little experience with Manufacturing aircraft.

When the best mechanics and the best engineers, no longer advance in the company, you know something is terribly wrong.

And when the more experience you have as a mechanic or engineer is considered more of a liability than an asset because of your pay, it’s obvious the company lost sight of what is important.

Boeing used to have an army of skilled engineers and mechanics who were highly valued now the current CEO and executives consider their higher pay a liability.

Sounds like an employee and inspection messed up. Now there will be another procedure put on place everyone will have to follow until the end of time.

Just like a union shop

Can't look up the issue
Blame Engineering
Pretend the statement is not specific.

To answer the question, why yes, the engineers are union too. You would know that if you actually worked at Boeing.

And it was completely operation error.

bolt-torque sounds like a design flaw. Are the engineers unionized?
