If my hours are reduced, I might stay here for a while, but certainly not if Macy's expects me to do almost the same amount of work as before the reduced hours. However, I believe that this is exactly what is happening, they want to get more for less

The turnover in my store is horrendous thanks to PLs overloading new PTers with responsibilities and tasks at week 1 on the floor.
They leave KNOWING they don't NEED to take this. It's corporate abuse.
retail is toast .. malls are done.. find another industry or go educate yourself in something that future proof
You will more than likely be held accountable to the same if not more. They won’t cut jobs because they don’t want to pay severance. It’s a bad time to work in retail, simply put. Find something else in another industry. I know I am.
