Thread regarding Disney layoffs

Cast members at the Parks won’t be laid-off, just the hiring freeze. BUT, they do need to do a better job! They need to show a Disney spirit, be nicer and more helpful to guests, come to work clean, not looking like they just rolled out of bed, entertainers need to perform like they enjoy performing, bathrooms need to be cleaned well, food needs to be hot, etc. The Parks are like a carnival show!!!

Cast members, you are a victim not just of the economy as a whole, but by guests who dont like what you are selling anymore.

People adding a “positive” mark to these comments of people getting laid off, please explain your position in a comment as to why. I am curious to your thoughts.

I am sorry. It’s horrible, your manager/leader betrayed you. The executives betrayed you. Your creativity, expertise, tenure, commitment, love of your team and Disney all failed. But, no, you are creative, experienced, a good team player, strongly committed, and have an amazing skill set. Now, it’s time to realize that the whole of the Disney company is a hideous beast! Go out and find a new passion!

Sorry for those impacted, but activists in the company have alienated their base.
