Layoffs destroyed everyone’s trust and will take years to recover from. I think things will never change. The culture will likely never change. The mindset of leadership will likely never change. I think it’s better to update your resume and be actively looking. Do this before the economy turns and not wait for another layoff in the US. Enbridge will keep their Canadian staff over the US based ones. History will always repeat itself here. The focus is on short term objectives such as shareholder value not you. This is just my two cents.

Negative team dynamics are more of a reflection of organizational culture vs the person.
At EGD in North York is is still the same that only "elites" can enter through front door and everyone else is a slave to go in through side or back doors? Is it still same that you hardly see any of those elites, they all on the first floor in their luxury offices? The most discriminatory attitude of this company speaks by itself
