Thread regarding Restoration Hardware Inc. layoffs

More layoffs

More layoffs in Nov 2022 and again March 24 2023. Organization wide "role reductions". Years of service, dedication, loyalty do not matter. Cutting tenure and keeping new hires to save money. Forcing those that are left to pick up the slack from being short staffed, again.

Terrible, it was a means to an end anyways. I just wish the people working there were more prepared. That company won't last or it will be bought by a bigger company.

No respect for their people. It is absolutely absurd that they preach about their people value 3 times a week in their bullsh-t meetings that no body likes, praising a cult leader like Gary. And here he decides to layoff all of these employees with families and mortgages all for his own agenda. He’s not going to last very long, I hope the board boots him out.

They did that several times when I was there... typical behavior (3 years from 2018-2021)
