Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

Learn from the mistakes of others

No loyalty to anyone, long term dedicated people who gave decades of their lives to NCR just disappear every week. If you have many years to still work, cut your losses now and move on, don’t be the last one there left running your self to death trying to train new people, takes 5 people to just keep a newbie for any length of time.

Pulled from +1lMMPNkH. I don't think there is any better advice than this.

Nice advice. Know few of senior people in hospitality who got laid off. Pretty sad. Run while you can.

Makes perfect sense. Get out now under YOUR terms or wait for the magical day when you get the meeting invite and you're out under THEIR terms. For you younger employees, there are hundreds of jobs out there with better companies that provide superior benefits and perks that put Fun Thursdays to shame. Move while you're young and find a sweet spot or you'll turn out to be one of those poorly trained unhappy dinosaurs you see roaming the halls at NCR walking on eggshells.
