One good thing about knowing people's title is you know where you stand in the team's priority/promotion queue. You know who your manager likes, make you do the ground work then have your teammate take the credit and get promoted. When you helped someone on top of all the assignments, that person looked down on you because of your low title, it makes you see people's true colors. Qualcomm is title heavy. Sadly, for someone like me, I can only use it to observe people, at least to know who they truly are.

Qualcomm should remove PH that shows the face photo and titles. Once folks know the title of the guys they deal with, they become political and try to build up the networks. Folks don't need to know the titles. Instead, they should only know what they are doing, roles, and experties.
