Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Maybe it's too late now

I never would've thought that a day would come when I'd think it's too late to fix this company, because I always hoped that it would somehow manage to get back on track. I wish I wasn't right

The best people left long ago. They are at Snowflake, AWS, Databricks, and Google. If you are still at Teradata, stop complaining since you are not an endentured servant.

Good choice to stick around before retirement.

VP exercising passive aggressive communication. Watch out for what comes next.

A VP said the other day in a meeting that “all the good people are gone”. What leadership.

just as OP realized it's too late ... heed the warning of many here and decide for yourself if it's too late and mgmt is blowing smoke up your fancy to get their kicks and bonuses ... they might boast some miniscule changes but fake work in the grand scheme

That is exactly why TD is going down. Good and talented people leave on they own or get fired by incompetent management and the ones that stay are waiting retirement or can't find another job. Layoff should Start and End with management for failing investors and employees.

I’m just sticking around until I can retire in two years. I can just surf down with the company. Just taking the cash and running. And if I get laid off before that? No problem. Sold my stock years ago.

where have you been my friend?

many saw it over the last few years but stuck around out of loyalty determination to see a great come back but it is hopeless so the best people are leaving, accelerating the demise
