Thread regarding Salesforce.com Inc. layoffs

Layoff

I was laid off in January and by my state law eligible for unemployment but Salesforce claimed I quit because they planned to lay me off so now I have to prove layoff which is not hard. Mean spirited

Depending on the state where you live and other details you may still possibly be eligible for unemployment even if you quit, as long as you are actively seeking new employment. I didn’t know that for like twenty years, and as a result suffered through tons of bullying, lying, psychologically abusive management bullsh-t to wait for a layoff a few times in the past. What a relief to know I could just quit instead and tell them I knew what they were doing and the bullsh-t wasn’t fooling anyone. Check the rules in your state.

Challenge Salesforce - if you received severance it is easy to prove.
