Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

It's not just CSG

TK will undoubtedly mention this story and say "SEE? If Apple can do it, so can I!"

"Apple will reportedly monitor employee attendance to make sure they are complying with a company requirement that they report to the office at least three days a week.

The iPhone maker — which has always touted its strict privacy rules — will review badge records to track attendance at its corporate offices in an effort to crack down on workers who ignore the back-to-work mandate, according to tech journalist Zoë Schiffer of the Platformer Substack blog."

I’m not sure Apple will be successful doing rto. Their hardware is good but their software hasn’t done as well.

It's not even about how many days. It's about delivering the message in a way that shows you have no respect for the people you're in charge of as adults or human beings.

I'd rather be in the office more often than not. But not this way. I don't want to work for a person who thinks I'm a burger flipper who needs a "supervisor." There's data. Look at what I'm doing for you and see that it's paying my salary and your profit margin. Tell me what your expectations are for me and then measure me against them.

But if he wants to check that my bu-t is in a seat and treat me like a child? Or that I'm OK, and it's other people who need to be micromanaged? Fu-k that guy. We're adults. If we're getting our work done, pay us. If we're not, fire us.

Fact 1: cloud computing and virtualization company CEO demands employees work physically in office 5 days a week.
Fact 2: Customers ask: if your CEO doesn’t believe in what you’re selling by making employees RTO, why should we buy?

CSG should be pushing remote work from the freaking rooftops….BUT NO! Bean Counter Fat Azz doesn’t know wtf he’s doing and/or doesn’t get it and would rather spend his time waiting in the bushes to see who badges in. WHAT A PIECE OF 💩. GO AWAY TK.

At least at Apple, the small-brained empty suits at the top can handle 3 days a week. The empty suit CSG got is so backward, he can't handle anything less than 5. Pathetic embarrassment to the PE owners, but then they're probably not capable of embarrassment.
