Recruiter is telling me Pure Storage has not laid off employees like "the rest of the industry" and is in a strong position not to. Is this true?

Well, they're laying off people as we speak, so that's a lie.

Pure has never, really, laid people off. Pure does however make use of extensive "quiet quitting" people. Also, attrition is a serious problem as the product line stagnates, so no need for mass terminations.
Does it seems there would be any chance of offers getting rescinded?
You would be wise to stay where you are right now.
Bump. I began interviewing with Pure's recruiters and hiring manager since late February. I was told my candidacy was solid and I would go onto the final round, but I haven't heard anything since the middle of the month. Not sure what is going on, and not sure I want to put myself into this situation. I'm with a stable company, so I'm rethinking any move to Pure given their mixed signals.
