Adidas is an absolute joke and I'm glad to be out of here! I'm so sick and tired of all the nepotism and politics that go on around here. If you're smart, you'll get out before this Titanic of a company sinks completely! If you have ANY prospects, make the move. There's nothing left to look forward to here

@Adidasslersbl Speaking all Truth...every letter.
Digital is the most toxic place to work. Racism (odd all the digital leaders are white males from the UK, not even Germany...), nepotism...(surprise surprise when there is a promotion the white guy from UK gets it.. But he got it on "merit" not because he reminds us of us and we are at each other's house every weekend...) boys club (see other reasons that breed this) and s-xim (the women they hire are for the white male gaze and if you don't appeal to that gaze you won't get hired or promoted). Toxic shiiiiit show... And internally the white hot racism belies all their multicoloured marketing.. All those brown afro beauties wearing adidas.. Yeezy and Beyonce are gone now so I guess finally it is clear.. And yes they all knew Yeezy was toxic. This is a show run by stupid white money hungry monkey men who don't give a toss about customers. I recall one saying "that customer should be happy we are even talking to them"... This brand is now a playground for white dudes who live off the work of brown athletes, brown celebrities, brown attractive people... It is a fashion slave trade. I would say Adi Dassler is rolling in his grave but he was a super Na-i so... Anyhoo, I only feel bad for the athletes that depend on the equipment and Run DMC wear Nikes now anyway so.. Let. IT. BURN.
I left nearly 2 years ago and haven't looked back since. The company I joined in 2015 wasn't anywhere near the one I left in 2021. The new HR leadership is a joke with jobs for the boys continuing to happen despite the expectation of open and transparent recruiting processes for every other function. The leadership shake up was well needed but way too late. The supervisory board were happy to let culture suffer when the numbers and dividends were good, but happy to turn on KR when that dried up. I fully expect BG to make another raft of leadership changes later in the year with hopefully MS and AR next to be shown the door at the board level. I was so adamant I'd return to adidas one day... after seeing how they treat the business and people from the outside, there is ZERO chance of me ever going back.
I didn't share why I left in my exit interview (the nepotism, the se-ual harassment, etc). They don't get my free labor telling them what's wrong when they never bothered to fix it in the first decade I was there, what would that change? Better that change comes from those who are there now.
Just because you had a bad experience dient mean everyone does. Really depends on line manager and department. I believe the new ceo will bring the 3 stripes back to growth
What department did you leave /quit on?
Bring up all your displeasure on your exit interview (if you have one).
Please share what you quit. Don’t be vague, you don’t owe adidas anything. Share for the people.
