Does anybody know the number let go in Ireland? HR have just stated they won't be announcing number of employees affected.

Hi again, I posted the first response, 5 does sound low, but it is credible/ plausible. I was adjusting for a larger overall number of emps today from 2009. If true, 5 is a good outcome and hopefully all 5 were of a voluntary nature, ( even if not technically voluntary). Or redeployed elsewhere.
I'm not sure that is true i'm hearing 5 overall but this came from a contact in a different LOB , So might just be speculation .If True that is a lot lower than expected. Everyone has been notified but don't know anyone impacted yt.
Hi, I dialled into that same meeting with HR director, that was a definite “NO, we wil NOT be releasing numbers for Ireland reduction’. It was very pointed/ sharp. So certainly, there is a reason for that, legal, optics, or maybe waiting to report as part of UKI (United kingdom and Ireland) as a market collectively.
In 2009 reduction, it was 6 or 12 employees from Ireland and all were voluntary, slightly different today, supposedly targeted roles. Considering an increased number of employees, it would be proportionally higher in raw numbers this time round, maybe twice as many.
