Contract all their work out and then you reduce liability
He-l yes eliminate that craft! Axel don’t work, just drag that car! What’s the worst that can happen? A derailment that poisons an entire town? Whoop de do, keep that car moving! Yippee Kay Yay!
Who cares the company sucks. Get contractors to fu-k it up.
Immigrants are now dying on UP trains. That should be proof that more car inspectors are needed.
The railroads should go back to the old style axle journal boxes, where the carman fills each one. That way everybody knows the axle wont get overheated and cause a bad wreck.
The railroad is in the business of moving freight. Contractors are in the business of repairing freight cars.
Hopefully not, but unfortunately the railroad seems to be working on eliminating just about all jobs except management and engineers, so there’s that. Basically if you make the company by driving trains or you are a “dedicated to the company” manager then you’re safe.
I think they might of thought about it but after east palastine I think they will have to hire more. The FRA will be setting new rules on who can inspect trains
Without freight car repairman there is no railroad
They are the backbone of Union Pacific
Expediters not approved by union. Program is not accepted
Isn't that's UP's new Expediters?
