90000+ More Layoffs !!

AWS, PXT, Advertising, Twitch. Then RTO attrition. Thanks Andy. Expense reduction at its finest. I wonder who's next?

I have seen a public article stating that recruiters are reaching out to offer positions as contractors to some of the laid-off folks. Note that in 2008, I was a senior engineer making $80/hour to $120/hour. In 2023, they are paying about the same now. If there are no RSU and benefits to complement the base salary, I have noticed salaries stagnated back to 2008 levels.

It is sad.

misery loves company, so glad I didnt take that offer for a amazon arch job, take your panel interview and shove it, we dont need you and your horrible slave conditions. and yes we pitch everyone elses cloud first, only yours if forced cause you have a horrible rep and treat every customer like they are id--ts. just had a customer meeting with one of your solution architects and was the biggest ego jerk , treated questions from customer like id--ts asking if the world is flat. enjoy !
