The letter grades EHR vendors get for interoperability
Interoperability has long been a goal of many in the healthcare industry, with EHR vendors playing a big role in how well providers can share and receive patient data.
Here are how those companies rank on interoperability, according to a March 16 KLAS Research study that surveyed 180 of their customers.
The report considered such factors as connectivity, utility, use cases, outcomes and adoption.
Enterprise EHR vendors:
- Epic: B-
- Oracle Cerner: C+
- Meditech: C-
Ambulatory care EHR vendors:
- NextGen Healthcare: B
- Athenahealth: B-
- Greenway Health: F
Altera Digital Health and eClinicalWorks didn't provide enough customers for their data to be comparable.
