Thread regarding Cengage layoffs

Transistor radio layoffs

Do you think when the economy finally collapses and the organization is in turmoil they will prioritize laying off the equity-hired transpersons and their underperforming alphabet club ally’s first? Just like in the tech sector?

Greetings,

If we go into full recession, which many believe we're already in, The Cenforce may expand. With recession come government extensions to benefits if a person is employed in a training program, many of which use Cengage products.

We have seen the transformation of earnings as our customers have transitioned from print to digital, and the Cenforce has also become more fluid.

If we decide to go with a growth strategy that necessitates our resource allocation levels being adjusted, I expect the company to stay true to its core mission statement and values. This would mean creating a diverse and inclusive workforce that facilitates change.

To many, the answer is simple. Strip the company down to the necessary people to do the work done and realize a profit. However, Cengage is a learning organization that values institutional knowledge and strategic planning. By providing an inclusive workforce that puts a strong emphasis of BIPOC and members of the LGBTQ+ community the leadership team is better positioning the company to thrive in the long term.

Cengage operates in the tech sphere and just as the equity hires in tech were sacrificed first, cengage will follow.
